Tiffany

This costume was made on a dare. A friend of mine at work cut out a page from a SPAWN comic book that had a feature on the Tiffany character. The cartoon was quite dramatic and I saw a challenge to making the costume from my usual supply of hardware and second-hand store supplies. As you can see it turned out no too bad. It was actually more difficult convincing my wife to wear it than it was to build it.  Truth is once she put it on, and took on the sense of anoniminity that a costume like this gives you, she enjoyed the costume very much...as did I :)

Hair was a rock star wig from the mall. Shoulder armor was a batting helmet cut in half (front and back). 'Bra' was two plastic bowls cut, painted and trimmed. Forearm armor are two kids soccer shin pads.. Shin armor is two front upper ski- boot pieces. Some
black leather elevator  boots from the second-hand store needed some repair but worked well in the end. Found some gold plated table mats at Wal-Mart and cut them up and trimmed them with cheap plastic jewelry to make up the different bits of shiny armor. Found an old burgundy naugahide(?) suitcase, cut it up and use it to make the leather straps and such. A doggie collar with some chain and a cape and there you have it.
