Edward Scissor Hands
| Edward Scissor Hands was actually made mostly by my wife. She found a very nice and inexpensive leather like material perfect for this costume. She cut and sewed together the jacket and pants and all the leather strappy things. We cleaned out all the belt buckles and such from the second hand store. I was the one who made up the hands. I used some long pieces of plastic cut to shape and painted with chrome paint then 'aged' a little. Some second hand scissor bits and greeblies and the scissor hands are quite convincing. Even had some trouble getting into one of the parties because the door guys were worried about the hands . |
