Barbarian
| This
costume was built for a friend of a friend when I was out of work. I was
able to go from start to finish in 3 days. This
costume and the devil costume are quite similar in construction. I
used a cheap Darth Vader helmet from the dollar store covered with cheap
black velvet, made a face plate from gold fabric, brass tacks and a plastic
table pad. A leather jacket from a second hand store was cut up and wrapped
over more plastic table pads, brass tacked, cut to shape and used to make
the body harness pieces. A foam and shiny black fabric shirt was stitched
with the muscle pattern and the pants were what I call clown pants....very
loose gathered at the waist and using a fabric off the cheap rack at the
fabric store that had a dark 'evil' look to it. Elevator shoes, a cape of
'evil' fabric and some leather gloves from the second hand store with some
gauntlets attached finish it off nicely. |
